Frequently asked questions
What waste percentage should I use?
Follow the product and installer guidance. Simple rectangular layouts often need less than diagonal, herringbone, highly varied, or pattern-matched installations.
Why are cartons rounded up?
Retail flooring is generally sold by full carton, so any fraction of a carton requires the next whole carton.
Can leftover flooring be useful?
Yes. A small reserve can support future repairs, especially when dye lots or product lines change.
