Site policy

Terms of use

Effective August 17, 2026

By using Tools for Flooring Projects, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Informational tools

The calculators and written material are provided for informational and convenience purposes. They are planning aids, not measurements, quotations, installation instructions, engineering advice, code determinations, or professional services. You are responsible for checking inputs, outputs, product documents, site conditions, and applicable requirements.

Permitted use

You may use the site for lawful personal or commercial project planning. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent its outputs as certified or guaranteed, or use it in a way that violates another person’s rights.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. Calculations may contain errors and may not fit your project.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site’s operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, materials, labor, data, or opportunities arising from use of or reliance on the site. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Third-party products and work

Product names, carton coverage, prices, installer practices, and external services remain the responsibility of their respective providers. The site does not claim certification, endorsement, or partnership with manufacturers, retailers, tradespeople, or standards bodies.

Availability and changes

Tools may be corrected, changed, or withdrawn without notice. These terms may also change; continued use after an update means the updated terms apply to later use.

Preserved rights

These terms do not choose a jurisdiction or displace mandatory consumer protections. Any non-excludable statutory rights remain preserved.
